Nas Pleads Not Guilty In Divorce Case
Nas has pleaded not guilty to contempt of court amid allegations he failed to pay child and spousal support to his ex-wife Kelis.
Kelis' lawyer says the rapper is $200,000 (130,000GBP) behind on child and spousal support. He was ordered to pay more than $51,000 (33,000GBP) per month to his former wife and 7-month-old son Knight in December.
The former hip-hop royalty couple have been embroiled in a bitter divorce battle since Kelis filed for divorce in Last May a few months before she was due to give birth to the couple's son.
Nas' attorney entered a not guilty plea on the rapper's behalf.
A contempt hearing is scheduled for next month.
