» Ne-Yo Detained in Norway After Reported Assault
Ne-Yo was detained in Norway after a member of his entourage allegedly assaulted a restaurant employee.
According to reports the singer was partying at a Norwegian eatery following a weekend show, when members of his associates reportedly punched a bus boy in the face, leaving him unconscious. The Miss Independent singer was not involved in the altercation.
Allegedly, another member of the group ran to the kitchen with a knife and began threatening the staff, but reports say that an unknown person was able to calm the assailant down.
The singer and his posse then exited the restaurant and were immediately detained and searched by Norwegian police.
The owner of the restaurant called Emil & Samuel said: "All in all this is an unfortunate situation involving the artist, Emil & Samuel and the concert management."
Staff at the restaurant are reportedly looking to press charges against the singer.
