Wayne Marshall Talks Collaborating With Estelle

Dancehall star Wayne Marshall recently gushed about what a pleasure it was to work with our very own Estelle, saying that they formed a friendship over the star’s favourite social networking site, Twitter.

“We follow each other on Twitter. I'm a fan of hers and she told me she was familiar with my music, so I sent her the track via Twitter. She loved it!

The remix of track entitled My Heart also features another dancehall heavyweight, Mavado. Wayne reveals that Estelle just seemed to love the track and when she saw the video she was sold.

Wayne continues: "She big me up on it and said it had true potential to get big, but it wasn't until I sent her a link to watch the video that she responded saying that she had to be a part of the movement.

“I was overwhelmed at the fact that she wanted to be on it. I sent her the track and by three days later she did her parts and sent it to us. That's how it came about, the magic of Twitter once again.”
